Here at Can I get the Recipe? we love to BBQ! Even in the colder months, you can find us braving the elements out on our patio just to get that BBQ flavour into whatever we are cooking. So, when Jasmine of Dakota Personalized Gifts offered us and our readers a chance to check out their personalized BBQ Tool Set, we got the steaks marinating.

When it comes to BBQ tools, the thing that bugs me most is the storage factor. BBQ tools are big and somewhat cumbersome and I never do like storing them in my kitchen utensil drawer as they always gets stuck or take up way too much room. So, when I received our BBQ Tool Set, the first thing I noticed was the durable, easy to open and very attractive, personalized wooden box that all three tools were stored in. I instantly knew that I would be able to store this beautiful set of tools in the cupboard, right beside my cutting boards, without any issue.

The second thing that impressed me was the quality of the tools. All three pieces, a set of tongs, a piercing fork and a spatula, are strong, attractive and well made BBQ tools with easy to grip wooden handles and high quality stainless steel components. Made to last, I can see these tools providing us with a lifetime of BBQing pleasure.

Finally, I loved the personalization of these tools. I have to admit, I am usually not big on anything personalized, but having my hubbie's name descretely added on to the box lid was a nice touch and very classy. I didn't tell him about the set until I showed it to him and his response was very positive. I mean really, what guy doesn't like tools with his name on them?
